I love her comments, as they are a reflection of the comments I hear from more of the modern bourbon enthusiast. Some of the older generations are more purest and like their barrels standard sizing of 53 gallons. I don’t necessarily think one is better than the other but it all depends on what you want in the end. The problem is when people claim a faster aging process in smaller barrels. You don’t age it faster you just get a different product and should be represented as such.
